ADJUSTMENT OF ANTI-DUMPING DUTY FOR THE FUFENG CORPORATE GROUP BASED ON THE RESULTS\u00a0OF THE SECOND REVIEW OF THE APPLICATION OF ANTI-DUMPING MEASURES ON SOME MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE\u00a0PRODUCTS ORIGINATING\u00a0FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA AND\u00a0INDONESIA<\/span><\/p>\n

(According to the Decision of The Minister of Industry and Trade <\/span>No.: 22\/QD-BCT on\u00a005 January 2024)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. Goods subject to anti-dumping duty<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

a) Name and basic characteristics<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Monosodium Glutamate products (also known as MSG, Monosodium Glutamate, Monosodium L-glutamate, Sodium glutamate, and Sodium salt of glutamic acid).<\/span><\/p>\n

b) Commodity code (HS code)<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, goods subject to anti-dumping duty are classified under the following HS code 2922.42.20.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Corporate groups are adjusted for anti-dumping duty rate<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Fufeng corporate group and related companies are adjusted for anti-dumping duty according to the result of the second review, specifically:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Manufacturing and exporting companies in this group have numbers from 05 to 07 in Column 1, Section 2 (table of anti-dumping duty rate) of the Announcement attached to Decision No. 640\/QD-BCT on 06 April 2022 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the results of the first review of the application of anti-dumping duty on some MSG products originating from the Republic of Indonesia and the People’s Republic of China.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Anti-dumping duty rate according to review results<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The anti-dumping\u00a0duty\u00a0rate in Section 3 of this Announcement\u00a0will be applied from the effective date of the Decision on the results of the second review of the application of anti-dumping measures on some MSG products originating from\u00a0The People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia until July 22, 2025 (except in cases where it is changed or extended according to another Decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade based on the review results\u00a0of the application of anti-dumping measures according to the provisions of law).<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Other contents<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Contents on the description of goods subject to anti-dumping measures, anti-dumping duty rates of other corporate groups from the Republic of Indonesia and the People’s Republic of China, the origin of goods subject to anti-dumping measures, procedures and documents for inspection and application of anti-dumping measures shall comply with Decision No. 640\/QD-BCT on 06 April 2022 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the results of the first review of the application of anti-dumping duty on some MSG products originating from the Republic of Indonesia and the People’s Republic of China.<\/span><\/p>\n
